The year is 2020. The Purge has been going on since the year 2017. Technology hasn’t changed much, but the American government has. Under the leadership of President Victor Freesa, unemployment has been taken down to its now 1% statistic. Crime is at an all-time low because of the Purge. What happens during those twelve hours…

stays in those twelve hours.

Any who still commit any crime (even just a small-time robbery) after the siren has sounded once more shall be quickly detained and mercilessly sentenced to three lifetimes in prison with no chance of parole or bail.

That’s where we come in. My character, Isabella Darquee, has once again decided to use her vast wealth (and rather large mansion with bullet-proof windows and an arming system that could give the president—who is also under the jurisdiction of the Purge—a run for his money) to throw an extravagant party during this year’s Purge (she has done so since 2018, making it an almost annual ordeal). In reality, she’s just trying to diffuse the certain tension that comes with the Purge. Everyone in her high-end, friendly neighborhood has been invited, as usual.

Except this year’s party will come with a price far greater than money.

For one of her guests that came to the party…wasn’t invited. S/he is the target of a ruthless Purge gang called the Purgers (they were the original group to take full and complete advantage of the Purge, which earned them the name…others didn’t think it to be true). S/he has come to Isabella’s party in the desperate hope that they can escape his/her fate.

But not even her defenses can stop the Purgers.

Let the Purge begin…

Before we do anything, I will confirm that this is based off of the movie “The Purge.” No, I didn’t see it, but I thought the story-line was fairly interesting, if not a bit unrealistic.  The storyline itself is based off the trailer.

As a side-note: Our characters are rich, and they live in comfort. Most don’t have horrific back-stories unless you count having terribly rich, neglectful parents as a horrific back-story. They could, however, have had parents that died in the Purge, which could be considered fairly horrific. Most haven’t done anything wrong in their lives, even during the Purge. But, it would be just fine if they did do something on one of the previous Purges.

As another side-note: I will be choosing the target based on your forms. For all you know, it could be my character if I don’t see fit to pick any of yours (I’m looking for a somewhat specific character, so…). So, my character is not out of the question. But, it’s unlikely I’ll pick her just because that kind of defeats the purpose of having an uninvited guest.

Anyways, so PMing me is not going to help you here.

Also, the target is posing as one of the rich folk, so whoever I choose will be having an almost completely fake form. They aren’t rich, basically. ;)Or just not as rich.

Appearance: Standing at 5' 11", Alexander has golden hair, hazel eyes and handsome features. He's lean but muscular, with a lightly tanned complexion from his childhood in Italy. He used to wear a stud in his left earlobe, and he has a sprawling pheonix tattoo down the right side of his back.


Financial Class: Billionaire (Go big or go home, yeah?)
Strengths: Alexander is extremely charming and charismatic, with a very good way with words. He's a quick thinker, and his wit and intellect make him a very good businessman. He made his fortune as a stockbroker, and is reknown as an excellent financial analyst and strategist.
Weaknesses: Alex likes to think of himself as fearless. He's quite an idealist, and his ultimate fear is caring too much. His weakness is his family, and he secretly adores cute things, such as the word 'Fluffles'.

Biography: Alexander was born into a lower-middle class family with four siblings. His mother was a chef, and his father was a.secondary school teacher. He went to business school in Milan on scholarship, graduating at 23 with honours. He worked with a financing firm in London for about a year, before getting relocated to New York, where he was a breakout star in the stock market. So really, he made his fortune in the past couple of years. It was just his luck, unfortunately, that the government introduced the Purges just as he settled down in America.

Properties: Alicia Brody Spa and Resort sprawls over 20000 square feet of Californian countryside, and built by Alexander for his mother, it is the gathering place of their family for special occassions. While it is a very exclusive resort for a select few, it is also the Brody family's main residence. Alexander's close friends and most valued employees get the fortune to take their families there for a weekend once in a while. Alex's personal private residence (better described as a bachelor pad where he holds his out-of-work parties) is a 1483 square foot penthouse apartment in Manhattan, and he also has getaways in the Canaries, Paris and Hongkong. His old family home, the one he grew up in, is in a sweet village outside Tuscany that has blossomed under Alexander's generous donations.

Humbly rich or power-hungry?: Somewhere in between. He likes to enjoy his wealth but he is "very grateful for what life has blessed me with". Still, he's a ruthless negotiator who does nor have any plan to stop the expansion of his financial empire anytime soon.
Snob or Slob?: He desn't do the whole facials and fish pedicure thing, but he likes to keep up a clean and immaculate presentation in public. At home, he lives a pretty simple lifestyle - sleep, eat healthy, exercise, work and women.

Appearance: Olivia is on the taller side, at about five-seven, but her lanky figure makes her look a bit taller. Her hair is a dark auburn color and falls in ringlets to her small waist, but she usually ties it up in a bun. Her eyes are a dark brown - almost black - and appear almost catlike. Her skin is fair and her nose and cheeks are dotted with several freckles that appear almost golden in color. She usually wears simple yet elegant clothing, along with one of her signature headbands.

Hundred-Thousand-aire, Millionaire, or Billionaire?: Her money altogether adds up to a little over three billion dollars. (Fluffles!)

Strengths: Most of the money she has is inherited from her parents, who both died in the Purge a few years ago. However, she is actually the CEO of a huge company, and, at her age, is one of the youngest CEOs around. She’s incredibly intelligent and is always ready with a plan.

Weaknesses/Fears: She has a terrible fear of heights and isn't that fast of a runner.

Biography: Olivia lived in luxury as a child, with the world at her fingertips. Her parents were rather controlling and nearly forced her into an arranged marriage with a man who was ten years older than her and not even nearly as wealthy as them just so they could be even richer. However, her parents died in the Purge shortly before the wedding and her fiancé, not wanting to marry a little girl, broke off the engagement.

Personality: Olivia is so intelligent and clever that it sometimes scares people. However, she doesn’t really know how to interact with people and has next to no social skills. If she ends up in love with someone, she’s so awkward that it’ll make anyone laugh. She nearly always sticks to the cold, hard facts and is very driven and grounded.

House Size: Her house is six stories, with hundreds of rooms.

Quirks: She has a tendency to shout out random facts whenever the oppurtunity arises.

Appearance: Ian has dark blonde hair that is in a short buzz cut. He has a light stubble for facial hair and a square chin. His eyes are deep green and his lips thin. His build is tall and fairly strong looking. His posture is always good and his neck is a bit longer than average. He always dresses classy in a violet button up shirt (sleeves rolled up to just above the elbow) and a black vest. He also wears black dress pants and polished dress shoes. He nearly always has mirrored aviator glasses obscuring his eyes.
Hundred-Thousand-aire, Millionaire, or Billionaire (or anything slightly below/above that)?: He acts a lot richer than he is, resting at about one and a half million.
Strengths (how they got their money—if they didn’t just inherit it—would be something to put here): He inherited a few million dollars from an uncle (who died in the purge) but spent a lot of it pretty quickly. He maintains a nice amount of money simply from his uncles previous job he also inherited. He's really good at dealing with people and intimidating them.
Weaknesses/Fears (required—they don’t have to have a fear, though, but it would be preferable): his biggest weakness is the fact he doesn't really trust most people. He also lies a lot and he's scared of some of those lies getting out.
Biography: His Mum moved away when Ian was only eleven and he hasn't heard form her since. Nothing else really happened to Ian until the first Purge. Until then he had lived in a cheap apartment with his Dad. When his uncle died Ian inherited the money and his uncles business. Ever since then Ian's been splurging his money.

Optional Information
Personality: He's fairly closed and doesn't trust many people. He lies a lot and so many people don't trust him either. He's currently living in a few big lies that could get him and his uncles business in a lot of trouble. He's very suspicious of most people but tries to not let it show. Although he's closed to many, he seems fairly friendly when you first meet him.
House Size: Much bigger than necessary. He has many decorations that are unnesecary and several fluffles. As mentioned above, he likes to waste his money. His house is three floors and a basement. He has two kitchens, eighteen bedrooms, six bathrooms and a few rec rooms. He only has so many bedrooms so he can accodomate many guests. He technically lives in his house alone but mant people from business stay overnight when they need a place it crash.
Quirks: He's actually quite the gentleman and he refuses to eat any seafood, although hes not allergic.
Humbly rich or Power-hungry?: Power hungry. He figures the more money he earns, the more can spend.
Snob or Slob?: He seems like a snob but his maid and his two only friends know he's a pretty big slob.
